Yes, I know it's there but it'd be nifty if it was intergrated in the program.

I would like to have an "autotune feature" in cablenut.

I imagine to select some fileld to change in a range and some file to download from internet.
Cablenut will then change settings in a selected step,reboot the machine, test them and then reboot logging the results and so on.

We colud then run it in the night (low congestion) and wake up with those parameters optimized.

doesn't this sounds interesting ?

Couldn't you set Cablenut up to run a series of tests then automatically set itself up for that persons best possible settings?

hey,, you can automatically get the appropriate setting :-

2: for the rite value you can "ENTER THE MTU VALUE" and get the exat value  from the available "TCP analyser link"
3: For proper upload and download speed of your ISP...also host ...u can use the "host speed"...value from ...results at http://testmy.net/a-dslnuts.... :)thanks again!!!
4: Enter the values and compute them......embedd the resultant ccs file and Viola!!! ur connection has been custom tweaked to its max optimum value..

Well, I'd like to see support for Windows XP x64 Edition.  I'm not sure but I think Cablenut does not currently work with x64.
