More than likely you dont need "DCOM"
Beter yet would you like to know if the Microsoft patch worked.
you can Kill DCOM in most cases

Ok just finished loading this program on mission criticle servers and work stations and found 3 machines out of 40 that the MS patch did not work on for one reason or another.
None of the workstation machines had problems connectiong to Servers. Also it seemed that the file servers seemed to have a slightley lighter load on them.
