A Prayer for a Good friend
« on: May 06, 2004, 12:50:00 am »
A Prayer for a Good friend.

Words aren’t simple when someone looses a loved one. We all think it will never happen to us.

We have a Real good friend of the Web site and a Good personal friend.

These past few months haven’t been easy on Him or his Family.
They just got situated with getting there new home built. It’s been exciting and a struggle.
They had a real nice house that they had to let go because of ground contamination in the water table.
But that worked out because of there strong family nature, friends and belief’s in Church and God.

In just the past few weeks another hard situation hit home. The Grand mother and Mom to our Good friend and his family had been diagnosed with a illness that really couldn’t be cured at least not in this day and age.

Buggy I can’t write for everyone here. But I can from our Family.

Our prayers go out for you and your family. We both know she’s in a better place then us.
She doesn’t have to put up with the pain, or the doctors.
She has one bill to owe up to.
From what I understand and know about you and your family, she probably doesn’t have to pay at the toll at the gate.

To a good friend Buggyman, the conscience of the forum

GOD Bless you and your wife as you go through all of this

"Here's a new player, his name is Linux."
"And what does he cost?"
- "Peanuts!"
"Why does such a good player play for peanuts?"
- "Because he loves to play!"

God Bless Buggy!!
So Very Sorry!!
Your Friend Gordon
God looked around His garden
And found an empty place.
He then looked upon the earth
And saw your tired face.

He put His arm around you
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.

He knew that you were suffering.
He knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.

He saw the road was getting rough,
And the hills were hard to climb.
So He closed your eyelids,
And whispered, "Peace be thine."

It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you didn't go alone.
For part of us went with you
The day God called you Home.

Thanks Dannjr and Friends. :)
They always say that you find out who you true friends are when you are face with a crisis.
You guys pass the Test with Flying colors.
But you are right.. Never have I had to deal with emotions on both end of the emotional spectrum.
Excited about the New House.. New Neighbors and new area of town.
Saddened to lose my my mom, leave the old house and old side of town.
But As some of you may know.. I had said that the events leading to this day has been a God thing. Only God could have done all of this in the timely manner it was done.
It all started with a Meeting concerning the Contaimination of the JEA Substation next door to my old house.
It's ending with the Death of the last link to that side of town, My Mom. Nothing left for me over there anymore.
God has started a new chapter in My life.
Where we go from here.. I don't know.. But I'm a servant and I will do whatever his will is.

I'll be getting back in the swing of things.. there is the dealing with Mom's house and accesses. The Brother from Atlanta is in town and will be for the next week. He's been a good help.

Thanks again....
Buggy :)
