My provider is Telus and my advertised speeds are 3Mbps/640 Kbps. Using windows XP. I'm getting around 2.6mbps/470kbps which is quite far away from advertised speeds.

try theasae a 2.6 isn't that bad though  if you getting around 80 to 85 perecent  it's still a good connection try thease
