Security, and Test Sites... By JANDOENT edited by Dannjr pages 1 of 1
Many people ask for links to security test sites.
These are some that I have categorized according to what they do.
Please read all instructions and privacy statements before allowing the tests.
Also remember that most tests involve scanning your ports and your firewall will log them as attempts to get inside your computer. So don’t report them to their ISP’s as you are asking them to scan you! You may want to delete your firewall logs afterwards.
Use these tests at your own discretion and risk. Some may run Java, active X, etc…
BROWSER TESTS
This is typically the information that a web site gets from you when you visit it. Usually tells your IP, what browser, monitor settings, etc…

PORT SCAN TESTS
These typically scan your ports to see if they are open.
Remember that you have 65,535 ports on your puter. Most online scans check less than 50 ports. Just because you are stealth on some sites do not mean that ALL of your ports are stealth, but only the ones scanned!
